ABOUT AMNION

Amnion was established in 1983 as a non-profit and has been serving our community for more than 30 years. We offer love, hope, friendship, information, practical help, free services, material resources and referrals for women and men facing unplanned, untimely, or unwanted pregnancies.

All of our services are confidential and free of charge, regardless of age, race, religion, marital status, or financial situation.
MISSION & VISION STATEMENT
To encourage women, men, and families to choose life when confronted with unintended pregnancy, to provide hope and healing to those suffering from past abortions, and to encourage adolescents to form healthy relationships by saving sexual intimacy for marriage.

To end abortion in Delaware, Chester, Philadelphia, and Montgomery Counties by -

Providing honest, confidential, high-quality counseling and medical support services to women, men, and families confronting unintended pregnancy and grief over past abortions;

Teaching adolescents in schools and churches how to form healthy relationships where sexual intimacy is preserved for a life-long marriage; and

Partnering with parents, churches, crisis pregnancy centers, and other community organizations to inform the public of the truth about abortion and life-affirming alternatives.
OUR STAFF

Amnion is staffed with qualified and trained personnel who each have a heart to serve women facing unplanned and crisis pregnancies. We approach each of our clients with love, understanding that their pregnancy brings an array of emotions and fears.
Our staff prepares our clients to make informed choices regarding their pregnancy by offering competent counseling of options, pregnancy test verifications, ultrasound confirmations, referrals to community agencies, parenting education, material support, adoption referrals and post abortion care.
